Project Control Operator

• Provide technical/analytical and functional support in the area of project cost controls, to include accounting creation, monitoring, forecasting, and close-out for the Project Controls Group.
• Work with departmental managers and technical leads to develop workload forecasting using work management system data, historical data, economic indicators, and project schedules.
• Project management responsibilities include WBS development, Schedule development, project meetings, project schedule update meetings and course correction along with monthly schedule reporting.
• Must possess skills and expertise in the following areas: budget development, forecasting, spreadsheets, schedule monitoring work in progress, and resource optimization.
• Assist in project budget/forecast development; Contractor coordination; Project management assistance; Performance reporting; Project change management adherence; Risk and Contingency planning.
• Ensure assigned projects are executed and meet the baseline schedule/cost review requirements; are executed with optimal use of resources within required timeframes, as well as within budget and scope. Prepare monthly variance analysis, prepare and submit monthly accruals, develop project forecast, prepare PCR where necessary, as well as any needed cost documentation.
• Interact with vendors to ensure accurate and timely billing.
