Our client, a leading manufacturer , is seeking a PIV Operator to join their team. As a PIV Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: PIV OperatorLocation: Perth, ONPay Range: $18.63 / HourWhat's the Job?
  • Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles. (ideally sit-down or stand-up counterbalance forklift)
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Physical effort for operating equipment or performing activities for lifting, packing etc.
  • Manage supplying operations with raw materials but also manage dumping garbage, collecting/sorting cardboard, offloading deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ability to successfully complete racking training
  • SAP Experience OR Good Computer Skills and the ability to learn SAP
What's Needed?
  • Forklift or Heavy Machinery Operation experience
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • High school diploma required
  • Clear background check is required
  • Controlled goods clearance will be issued upon meeting the requirements (need government issued Photo ID with address - OHIP card cannot qualify)
  • Ability to lift and carry between 30 - 50lbs
  • Eagerness to learn with a positive team player attitude
