Our client, an industry leader in infrastructure and equipment support, is seeking dedicated Heavy Equipment Technician Helpers to join their dynamic team. As a Heavy Equipment Technician Helpers, you will be an essential part of the operations team, supporting skilled technicians in various installation, relocation, and decommissioning projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability, aligning perfectly with the organization's values and goals.Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician Helper
Location: Lower Mainland, BC
Pay Range: $25/hr
On call ShiftsWhat's the Job?
  • Assist technicians with lifting, moving, and positioning equipment and materials safely and efficiently
  • Support installation, relocation, and decommissioning projects on-site
  • Follow directions from lead technicians and site contacts to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings to promote a safe work environment
  • Identify and report potential hazards, completing safety documentation such as Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRAs)
What's Needed?
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely, with support when necessary
  • Must be able to pass Cross Indentity check and criminal checlk
  • Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow established procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in all tasks
  • Comfort working in active environments with moving equipment and cables
  • Valid government-issued identification required for site access
