
Systems Developer

- Contribute to hardware and software development effort for system validation of IC (integrated circuits) and SiP (Systems-in-Package) products
- Contribute to component selection, PCB schematic design and layout, signal integrity and RF simulations for development boards
- Develop data acquisition system and evaluate system level performance
- Support development of production test for development boards
- Provide technical content for documentation
- Support customer issues or requests
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, System Engineering, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in a related technical field
- Experience in PCB design and electrical simulation tools
- Experience with automated data acquisition systems using scripting languages such as Python
- Good knowledge of typical analog circuit blocks and microprocessor architecture including memory sub-systems, interrupts & typical peripherals such as timers, UART, I2C, etc.
- Familiarity with FPGA development, firmware and C programming
- General hands-on soldering and debug skills for board bring up
- Familiarity with general lab equipment
- Experience with RF simulation tools such as ADS and HFSS will be an asset
- Ability to learn quickly
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience in developing solutions to quality-driven processes or standards
- Interest or experience in the semiconductor industry
