Working under the direction of the Hub leaders, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations within the multi-property engineering department. This will be a hands-on role which involves carrying out ad hoc repairs in relation to all aspects of the building environment, including particular attention to rooms and guest requests. You will monitor and inspect the conditions of workspaces and equipment, ensuring to report on any areas where improvements are required. Additional tasks will include preventative maintenance and operation testing. You will work in a professional and safe manner, which is in accordance with relevant hotel standards and procedures.Our ideal candidate will possess:· Established experience in similar role – hotel environment strongly preferred· Personable demeanor with natural ability to interact with guests· Dedicated work ethic, with an eye for detail and accuracy· Strong multi-modal communication skills – including verbal, reading and written· Competency in working both collaboratively and independently· Technically minded, with confidence working with computers and systems· Creative and adaptive problem-solving skills and ability to manage deadlines· Full working rights in Australia with availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.Spark up your career.
