Job DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with proven manual and automation testing experience to join the team in Capital Markets. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of testing within the project to enable greater test coverage and faster delivery. The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist will engage with the Product/Project Team to identify testing requirements, plan/execute QA/QE activities and report/track defects. This role requires hands on experience in Testing areas to address all issues/queries that will allow the team to deliver their tasks in a timely manner. Capital Markets is a fast-paced environment with most projects following agile methodology. Expectations are high for quality delivery and QA forms an essential component of the delivery process. QA team are equal stakeholders in getting initiative delivered on time with qualityWHAT WILL YOU DO?Involve in both manual testing and automation using organization’s framework/tools and standardsWork with team members (PM/Scrum Masters, Dev and Business Analysts) to understand objectives and map out testing activitiesSupport all Manual testing activities and deliverables - Test Plan, Requirement analysis, Traceability, Test Design, Test Data management, Test Execution and Defect managementSupport all Automation testing activities and deliverables - Strategize, Design, Develop, Report and Maintain scriptsWork closely with team on planning and performing different level of testing phases Functional, Regression, IntegrationSupport UAT Testing based on Business needSupport Production issue analysis and replicationSupport Production Implementation Releases as neededCreate Knowledge, Support or Understanding documents as neededWHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:A relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a comparable field of study10+ years of experience in Manual Testing3+ years of experience in Test AutomationExperience in Capital Markets, Banking or FinanceAdvanced knowledge of QA Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application testing and supportExperience in automations tools and frameworks like Robot Framework, Selenium, PythonHands-on experience in Automation using Python or JavaKnowledge of Database and Query writing skillsKnowledge of web services and API testing – SOAP, PostmanProficient in Test Management tools like JIRA, qTestDemonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
