
Quality Assurance Technician

- Conduct testing and inspection of raw materials and finished goods.
- Perform dock audits to ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry standards.
- Monitor manufacturing processes via audits, inspections, and sample collection.
- Verify product handling, labeling, and packaging.
- Support resolution of production concerns and non-conformance issues.
- Train and coach operations staff on standards and best practices.
- Manage inspection and disposition of on-hold products.
- Prepare customer documentation packages.
- Assist with calibration and measurement systems.
- Participate in audits (internal, customer, regulatory).
- Conduct process and ISO 9001 audits.
- Engage in LEAN, 5-S, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all Infra Pipe procedures and policies.
- Experience in QA within manufacturing or equivalent education/training.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D).
- Knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Experience with LEAN and 5-S is an asset.
- $2,000 signing/retention bonus: $1,000 after 6 months, $1,000 after 1 year.
