- Stay connected with the pulse of the spa to gather feedback and generate new ideas from the team.
- Oversee spa in providing monthly team training, along with appropriate tracking of associate services.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs of all spa areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the facility.
- Ensure that spa team members complete monthly safety inspections, verify that equipment is in working order, and report any issues to engineering for repairs.
- Notify the Director of Operations and relevant department leadership about unsafe equipment practices, guest health emergencies, or treatment reactions.
- Help manage the budget by engaging in creative revenue generation and effectively managing payroll costs.
- Be approachable and responsive to the team as daily concerns arise, stepping in immediately to assist or find additional support when needed.
- Promote spa sales creatively through monthly promotions, daily specials, packages, and events in coordination with the Director of Operations.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and receiving of professional supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Maintain accurate record controls for purchase orders (POs), receiving information, and invoices to ensure sound financial oversight each month, in coordination with the Director of Operations.
- Oversee staffing levels, including hiring and training, in collaboration with human resources and the Director of Operations.
- Provide coaching, counselling, and documentation for team members in partnership with human resources and the Director of Operations.
- Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a luxury spa.
- Previous experience in a spa and/or hotel setting is required.
- Strong motivational leadership skills.
