Job DescriptionWe're looking for a very experienced Head of People Partners Americas to build and lead the People & Culture Team in the relevant geographical region.
  • As a strategic member of the Hexagon Geosystems People & Culture team, the Head of People Partners leads and drives day-to-day responsibilities in the Unites States, Canada and LATAM focusing on People Partnering. He/she leads the People Partnering Organization, being a very experienced People Partner (double role) who closely collaborates with and is point of contact for the Global People Partners, Global Process Owners, Global Business People Services, Country Managers, employees and employee representatives.
The Head of People Partners acts as a trusted coach, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and digital transformation.This appeals to you
  • Serves as single point of contact for Global People Partners regarding execution, prioritization, and day to-day employee experience
  • Owns employee relations within the geography, including interface with employee representatives
  • Accountable for local employee relations and the full employee lifecycle, with strategic and functional guidance provided by the respective Global People Partner on business-specific matters
  • Acts as primary People contact for the local Country Manager
  • Acts as leader for local People Partners and serves as People Partner for a defined associate population
  • Partner with global Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in Leadership, Learning & Culture, Talent & Succession, Total Rewards, HR Controlling & People Analytics, HR Digitalization
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with respective labor law within geographical region and Hexagon policies.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization within geography.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic People Partnering role within the tech or engineering sector
  • Experience working in a matrix or vertical, international organization; familiarity with US labor law is essential, additional knowledge of Canadian labor is a definite plus.
  • Familiarity with HCM tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English and bilingual with Spanish preferred
  • Proven ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of time
