- Participates in the implementation of recreation therapy programs that are based on needs, interests, and capabilities of residents
- Assist staff with creating new and innovative programming
- Assist staff with additional special projects and/or minor administrative tasks
- Understands and works within the Recreation Therapy service and department goals and objectives outlined in the Recreation Therapy Operational Plan
- Develops and maintains relationships with resident family members
- Ensure Shoreham Village policies and procedures are maintained to ensure safety of self and others
- Assist with the daily operations of recreation department
- Assist in ensuring there are adequate recreation supplies
- Cleans and checks all equipment, reporting all necessary repairs to the Manager of Recreation
- Performs other related duties as required
- Clean criminal record check
- Regular attendance and punctuality are required
- Must attend in-service programs while on duty as required
- Able to lift/ move up to 30 lbs.
