We are seeking an enthusiastic electronics designer that is a problem-solver, eager to rise to the challenges of a continuously evolving technological industry, and wants to make an impact on the safety of people and businesses globally.Responsibilities:Developing innovative products alongside mechanical, firmware, purchasing and testing teamsDesigning high-speed digital and power supply circuits including component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulationTesting, characterizing, analyzing, and troubleshooting electronic PCBAs and systemsRapid prototyping and testing of new circuit ideas using workbench tools and test equipmentDesigning and testing for compliance with EMC and safety regulationsSupporting production and products in the fieldCreating and maintaining PCB design files, JIRA tickets, design and test documentation, and bills of materialsQualifications:2+ years of experience in electronic design or validationHands-on skills including soldering, prototyping and using test equipmentPragmatic approach to problem solving with ability to improviseStrong communication and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and able to learn quickly and work well within a team environmentThis position is based in Vancouver, BC and the candidate must reside in the Greater Vancouver Area as they will be required to work in the office anywhere from 2 - 5 days per week as projects require.Target Base Salary Range: $ 80,000 - 90,000 CADConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
