- Assist Account Executives with all aspects of servicing group and individual accounts
- Maintain accurate renewal calendar, communicate renewal timelines to Account Executives
- Process documentation: renewals, proposals, claims history, customer correspondence
- Maintain electronic and paper client/carrier files
- Ensure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers before forwarding to the client
- Contact clients regarding renewals and claims, update changes
- Answer account related questions/requests from clients and insurers
- Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry
- Attend occasional client meetings with Consultants
- Create marketing materials and presentations for Consultants
- Act as liaison between Consultants and Corporate clients
- Successful completion of LLQP or willing to obtain
- 2+ years of experience in the employee benefits industry
- Willingness to learn and take on increasing levels of responsibility, including client communication
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent Communication
- Typing speed of at least 55 wpm
- Good working knowledge of underwriting arrangements
- Has a high attention to detail
- Comfortable conducting employee education sessions and client administration orientation sessions
- Good understanding of employee benefits plan analytics
- Experience with flex plans is an asset
