Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Fabrication Lead in St. John’s, NL.Located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Maderra Engineering Inc. provides project management, project services, engineering, technical and personnel services to the Energy, Resource, and Commercial sectors.   • 10+ years of experience in the direct management of complex steel fabrication components
  • Understanding of codes, standards, and recommended practices relevant to marine-related construction
  • Detailed understanding of fabrication methods, including cutting, welding, testing, coating, etc.
  • Ability to accurately assess the capabilities and capacities of various suppliers, their facilities and their proposed methods
  • Extensive on-site experience in managing and supervising major fabrication work
  • Commitment to HSE principles and demonstrated leadership in ensuring the are upheld
  • Ability to manage changes during the fabrication of major components in a safe, technically acceptable and commercially responsible manner
  • Effective interfacing between PMT and fabricators
