Power Supply Lead Engineer

- Develop basic and detailed engineering activities for High Voltage, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage power supply and DC Traction systems.
- Prepare electrical schemes, layouts, technical, functional, and interface specifications; conduct clause-by-clause design reviews and gap analysis.
- Prepare calculation notes load flow, short circuit, cable sizing, power balance, power factor study, insulation coordination, arc flash, UPS and battery sizing, grounding, protection coordination, etc.
- Identify and manage interfaces between the power supply subsystem and other project subsystems (SCADA, OCS, Systems, RAMS, EMC, Procurement, Civil Works, etc.).
- Validate vendor equipment offers and ensure compliance with technical standards and project requirements.
- Provide technical support to Construction and Testing & Commissioning teams; participate in factory, site testing and commissioning when required.
- Contribute to as-built documentation and modifications if required.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in railway transportation engineering, including railway projects as Lead Power Supply Engineer or similar.
- Knowledge of the main electrical systems standards (CSA, IEEE, EN, etc.), for design and testing.
- Preferably experienced in DC Traction network sizing using tools such as Open Rail or eTraX.
- Preferably experienced in Medium Voltage network sizing using tools such as ETAP or SKM.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; basic knowledge of BIM, Revit, and Navisworks preferred.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, proactive, and technically driven.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
