They are looking for a Project Engineer on a contract basis who wants more responsibility and visible impact.What you will gainFrom day one, you will:
  • Build full lifecycle experience, from early development through to commissioning and handover

  • Shape early project plans and scopes so you influence direction from the outset
  • Oversee EPC contractors to ensure quality, safety and delivery standards are met
  • Take part in design and peer reviews, strengthening your technical confidence
  • Coordinate site activities, well conversions and completions work
  • Support commissioning and start-up, ensuring a smooth handover to Operations
  • Review progress and approve contractor payments, building commercial awareness
  • This is a visible position where your judgement and organisation directly affect project success.
About our companyOur client operates within the oil sands sector and delivers technically demanding thermal projects. They are known for high engineering standards, safe delivery and a practical, team-focused culture.The personYou will hold a degree in Engineering, ideally Chemical or Mechanical, with at least five years’ oil and gas project experience.You will also have:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA
  • Experience in process facility construction and commissioning
  • Knowledge of SAGD processing and fabrication
  • Understanding of plant layout and equipment design
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills
  • Clear communication skills in English and Mandarin
