- Authoring and delivering presentations to a variety of stakeholders, including the Tim Hortons and RBI senior leadership team and restaurant owners
- Ownership of end-to-end franchisee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, transactions, owner recognition programs, and terminations
- Updating valuation methodology for restaurant transactions on an as-needed basis
- Overseeing franchisee billing processes, including managing franchisee bad debt risk
- Leading reporting and analytics for all operational KPIs for Tim Hortons Canada restaurants
- Ownership over internal franchisee-facing app (Timsights), determining priority of new features and enhancements, validating business requirements, and ensuring seamless launches of new features to owners
- Managing performance evaluation frameworks and setting operational standards to ensure continued accountability for franchisees to deliver exceptional performance
- Working closely with banking partners to build financial solutions for challenged owner situations and advocate for more favourable terms and financing support where required, as well as managing preferred banking programs across the franchisee base
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a franchised business environment
- Strong financial acumen and facility with numbers and data – MBA, CPA or CFA is an asset
- Advanced ability to translate complex analysis into easily understandable narratives in order to gain understanding and buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional business partners to achieve mutual objectives
- Experience with team building & talent development
- A passion for building trust and relationships with franchisees
- Comfort in making decisions in unstructured environments where multiple qualitative factors must be considered
