- Replace old or damaged containers with new ones
- Remove old or closed work orders from storage areas
- Ensure containers are well-organized and labeled for easy access
- Maintain organization of the drum dock with multiple supply codes
- Prevent used oil accumulation on the docks
- Properly store used oil in containers
- Ensure all inventory items are appropriately supply coded
- Label IMO tanks for clear identification
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of tank inventory at the IMO site
- Keep docks organized and clutter-free
- Decide on appropriate placement of items indoors or outdoors
- Maintain organization within the cold storage building
- Keep inventory locations up to date
- Prevent equipment from being exposed to extreme cold
- Ensure entrances are free of snow and easily accessible
- Organize materials within the MS-15 building and conexes
- Oversee the propane filling station operations
- Arrange for proper disposal of damaged propane bottles
- Maintain a detailed inventory list for all conexes and input information into GenCid
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of stored items in the South End area
- Remove non-inventory items from storage areas
- Keep an updated inventory of Cable Row and Hose Dock items
- Exchange cylinders for gases such as Oxygen, Acetylene, Nitrogen, Argon
- Complete various checklists including CAA, SAA, Tank, and Drum Dock
- Replace non-usable containers with new ones as required
- Remove all trash from containers and designated areas
- Perform daily checks of fuel tanks and fuel island
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Heavy Equipment experience to include Loader, Forklift, Load-All and Hyster
- Equipment operating experience
- Prior experience in material handling or inventory management preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Capacity to lift and move heavy objects, as required
