- Lead the Hydro Mechanical Systems team responsible for engineering support and analysis of product development, missionized programs, tool development, In-service aircraft and Final Assembly Line/ Production.
- Develop a high-performance team to support landing gear, hydraulic, doors and flight control aircraft issues. Work with internal and external stakeholders in defining and driving the implementation of design solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to support the resolution of highly integrated, complex technical issues and analyses.
- Provide expert support to other business units as required (audits, internal document review, design reviews, supplier's document review and approval, define schedule and work scope as well as provide estimates of required resources and budget related to innovative designs).
- Using the AES system, establish master plans, develop metrics and institute team governance to provide accurate and relevant reporting of team performance.
- Ensure adequate engineering resources are allocated to support other Business Units as well as Strategic Technology projects, as per budget and schedule.
- Create and enable a positive and collaborative team environment and take concrete actions to keep high level of engagement within the team.
- Complete performance reviews, identify performance gaps and create effective team development, mentoring and coaching plans.
- Attend and present at management meetings; communicate information to employees in a timely manner.
- Set priorities and manage communication and harmonization of priorities.
- Develop good working relationships with various departments within Bombardier and with all Suppliers.
- You hold a Bachelor`s of Engineering Degree and are a member or are eligible for a Professional Engineer registration (OIQ or PEO).
- You have experience in providing hydromechanical engineering support and analysis of Product Development, Missionized programs, Tool development, In-service aircraft and Final Line/ Production.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and technical expertise (design, development, tool development) and people management and development
- You have knowledge of BES, Change Management and Continuing Airworthiness aspects.
- You are familiar with TCCA AWM 525, FAA 14 CFR Part 25 et EASA CS-25certification requirements and advisory material.
- You are familiar with Microsoft Office software tools
- You have the ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- You display strong interpersonal and professional demeanor as a business representative of the company.

- You display strong organizational and managerial skills.
- You have very strong communication skills, verbal and written.
