- Responsible for creating and maintaining Product Vision, Strategy and Roadmap covering the product’s full lifecycle, aligned with NAV CANADA ATS Learning and stakeholder needs.
- Partners with ATS Learning leaders to establish a prioritized set of requirements for solutions that improve the overall effectiveness, efficiency and compliance of NAV CANADA’s ATS Learning operations.
- Develops and delivers the Product Vision, Strategy and Roadmap that align with the Enterprise Architecture and Technology direction of NAV CANADA and are consistent with ATS Learning and enterprise priorities.
- Secures investment for Product Roadmap initiatives, following the NAV CANADA approved processes.
- Researches and interprets industry and technology trends that could impact the Product Vision and Roadmap.
- Continually monitors and refines the Product Roadmap to meet ATS Learning needs and take advantage of new capabilities and features.
- Provides coaching, mentorship and positive leadership of the entire Product Family team to maintain a healthy and productive workplace
- Works effectively and in a highly collaborative fashion with other teams across Technology and the company.
- Accountable and responsible for a team of Technology professionals working through technical leads, specialists and managers.
- Ensures the responsible use of all resources and assets for the benefit of NAV CANADA; manages operating and capital expenditures in line with applicable budgets and approvals, and in accordance to stated company and CTO and Technology objectives and priorities.
- Undergraduate degree in a technology related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Master of Business Administration or advanced Technology degree
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Technology, Operations, ATS Learning or other relevant business
- 3-5 years of experience managing people in a Technology-enabled environment
- Significant experience with Simulation Systems used for learning purposes
- Demonstrable knowledge of the product management or portfolio management discipline
- Demonstrable knowledge of financial models and plans
- Familiarity with the principles of product delivery
- Ability to communicate ideas, concepts and status, both orally and in writing, with ease and clarity
- Ability to deliver presentations to a large audience and to senior management
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries and solve problems within a distributed team
- Ability to develop guidelines, policies and procedures
- Ability to manage people and projects and handle multiple tasks with conflicting priorities

- Strong analytic and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to provide well thought out recommendations

- Travel is required up to 20% of the time
