Our client is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Heavy Equipment Sales Representative to join their team. In this role, you’ll work directly with contractors, developers, and business owners to understand their equipment needs and offer solutions that support their operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, client-facing role and understands the demands of construction and site work.Responsibilities
You’ll identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts. You’ll meet with clients on-site or at their offices, provide product information and demonstrations, and guide them through the decision-making and purchasing process. You’ll stay informed on current inventory, industry trends, and competitor activity to position our client’s offerings effectively. Your focus will be on building trust, delivering value, and ensuring client satisfaction long after the sale.Qualifications
You bring previous sales experience, ideally in construction equipment, machinery, or a related field. You’re comfortable talking to both field crews and business owners, and you know how to build rapport quickly. You’re technically minded, with a working knowledge of equipment like excavators, skid steers, and loaders. You’re organized, self-motivated, and enjoy being out in the field. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally is required.Preferred Background
Post-secondary education in business, construction, or a similar field is an asset. Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office is helpful. Knowledge of the local market and familiarity with the construction or landscaping industry will serve you well in this role.Why Join Our Client
