
Staff Scientist - Slaight Family Centre for Youth in Transition

- PhD in Neuroscience or a related field is required
- Demonstrated expertise in PET imaging, including previous or current studies, grants, and publications using PET in psychosis and autism spectrum disorder populations is required
- Demonstrated expertise in MRI research in clinical populations is required, including psychosis and autism spectrum disorders
- Research experience in applied clinical contexts is required, including experience working with individuals with psychosis and autism spectrum disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and function well within a cooperative, collaborative working environment
- Ability for self-directed learning/working, while working concurrently on multiple projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, seeking advice and support when needed
- Ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated experience partnering and engaging with various stakeholder groups
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other scientists and research teams are essential
- A proven track record and aptitude in scientific publishing
- Demonstrated experience developing and/or collaborating on successfully funded competitive grant proposals is required
- Experience supervising and overseeing staff and students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and the academic community
