
Senior Manager, Insider Risk - Asset Protection (Global Security)

- Develop and drive risk-based controls to detect and prevent unauthorized access, mishandling and misuse while ensure monitoring practices are enhanced.
- Conduct regular review of higher-risk application areas to ensure compliance with protections, policies, and standards.
- Communicate improvement and enhancements at all reporting levels.
- Review and recommend enhanced controls while engaging teams to help mature relevant data analytics and oversight functions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with risk and operational partners.
- Track and manage issues/findings to ensure it is remediated.
- Act as the trusted partner to the business and application stakeholders.
- Create, manage and maintain sustainable procedure and process documentation.
Must have:
- A practical understanding of data protection risks, exposures and effective controls to help mitigate them
- Experience with behavior-based monitoring and technology
- Staying up to date on emerging threats, trends, and technologies on insider risk management.
- Experience managing, engaging and tracking large scale application assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- A willingness to make a difference and to help maintain and build trust.
- Audit, operational support, data protection or governance/risk management experience.
- Industry related certification – e.g. CASP+/CISSP/CISA
- Knowledge of financial services business line(s) and associated applications and processes
- Information Technology standards, methodologies, and audit requirements
