Reporting to the Project Director at head office (Québec), you will play a central role in managing the project’s activities and interventions to achieve the expected results, coordinating the team under your responsibility, and overseeing administrative and financial management in accordance with established policies.Contract position: 2 yearsStarting date: As soon as possibleStatus: Position open to national and expatriate candidatesOverview of the challengeCarry out and coordinate all activities and processes required for project start-up (logistical, administrative, financial, and operational aspects).Recruit, onboard, and mobilize project team members and ensure synergy among their activities.Achieve results and implement activities defined in the Project Implementation Plan and Annual Workplans.Ensure financial management and budget monitoring for the project.Establish and update the performance measurement framework to ensure systematic and objective monitoring of project results and targets.Develop strategies, Annual Workplans, and interventions to ensure results are achieved and risks are monitored.Identify, plan, and monitor technical services delivered by DID technical experts, international consultants, and national experts.Actively participate in efforts to identify and develop business opportunities in the Philippines. Identify complementarities and potential synergies in order to maximize results.Prepare project progress reports and any other relevant documentation.Develop and maintain excellent relationships with institutional partners and key stakeholders.Supervise procurement and manage the project’s logistical aspects.Do you see yourself in this profile?You hold a bachelor’s degree in project management, agroeconomics, or a related field. A graduate degree is an asset.You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in project coordination and management of a multidisciplinary team.Experience in the international development sector in Asia is required; experience in the Philippines is a major asset.Knowledge of issues related to the development and delivery of services supporting women is a significant asset.You are recognized for your strong organizational skills, sound management of deliverables, and respect for deadlines.You stand out for your political acumen, your ability to mobilize teams, and your transparent and generous approach to information sharing.You are comfortable working in ambiguous situations and in diverse cultural and organizational environments.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
