Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Property ManagementLocation: Victoria, BCAbout the CompanyOur client is a well-established property management company specializing in third-party management across a diverse portfolio. With a strong reputation for professionalism and client service, they manage complex operations that require a high degree of financial accuracy and transparency. The CFO will play a key role in ensuring the company delivers timely, accurate financial reporting to each of its clients while driving overall financial strategy and operational efficiency.The OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, proactive finance leader to step into a pivotal role. The CFO will provide both strategic financial direction and be comfortable getting into the details when needed. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, ensuring the company maintains strong financial health while scaling for future growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements for both the company and its third-party property management clients.Implement and maintain effective financial controls, processes, and systems.Partner with leadership to develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with business goals.Monitor cash flow, manage risk, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.About YouCPA designation (or equivalent) with a strong foundation in accounting and financial management.Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within property management, real estate, or a complex multi-client service environment.Demonstrated ability to produce detailed financial reporting for multiple stakeholders.A proactive, strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and dig into the details.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with financial systems and process improvement initiatives.Why JoinPlay a critical leadership role in a growing, reputable property management company.Opportunity to shape the financial strategy while remaining closely connected to day-to-day operations.Work in a collaborative, values-driven team environment in Victoria.
