- Accounts Payable: process invoices and payments for suppliers. Match bank transactions to suppliers invoices.
- Transactions: Maintaining general ledger for each company in our portfolio; assisting with payroll entries. Reconcile credit card transactions. Balance intercompany transactions.
- Reconciliations: Balance intercompany transactions. Reconcile cash receipts weekly. Reconcile clearing accounts.
- Other duties as assigned
- Completed studies in Accounting, with an undergraduate degree (or equivalent).
- Work experience in an administrative, corporate or customer service environment.
- A strong understanding of the ASPE accounting framework, including consolidations and acquisitions.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at once.
- Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders including the corporate team, hospital-level teams, hospital owners and outside advisors and professionals.
- The ability to work on and complete tasks independently.
- Work experience in a staff accounting, bookkeeping or accounts payable position. This is valuable, but not required.
- Work experience in payroll administration would be considered an asset.
