- Strategically plan and oversee allocation of professional staff to meet business goals, working closely with Partners and RMP
- Continuously monitor and adjust scheduling to optimize utilization and staff leverage; analyze utilization reports to ensure those with lower utilization are assigned more billable work and escalate performance concerns to HC/performance coaches
- Gather and leverage information on staff career goals and strengths for effective placement
- Collaborate with Resource Management professionals to share best practices and drive process improvements
- Build strong relationships as a trusted advisor, promoting resource sharing across regions
- Analyze productivity and business needs to develop actionable plans for workload balancing and career path creation
- Develop expertise in Resource Management technology and workflow management for planning, allocations, forecasting, and reporting
- Collaborate with Human Capital (HC) to escalate and resolve workforce issues, including performance concerns and timesheet discrepancies. Additionally, work together on strategic workforce management and utilization to ensure optimal alignment and deployment of resources
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred
- Experience in a professional service, consulting, or project-based environment preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of Resource Management, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, excel and storytelling through data
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influence skills, especially within a Partnership
- Independent decision-maker with excellent judgment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity, complex projects, and tight deadlines.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions
- Experience in leading change and working confidently with team members at all levels
- Written and verbal French and English language skills, due to frequent collaboration with English-speaking teams/clients across Canada and some client deliverables/regulatory reporting obligation are in English
