  • Direct and manage the Mill Maintenance Department to achieve required standards in safety, employee relations, production, maintenance execution and cost-effective utilization of resources available
  • Collaborate and coordinate daily with Mill Operations, Mill Safety and Procurement to maintain safe production requirements
  • Provide safety leadership for the surface maintenance areas by being visible in the workplace and actively participating in site safety programs
  • Lead the Mill Maintenance, Mill Engineering, Planning and Scheduling departments to develop and execute plans to deliver on key business objectives
  • Promote a high level of trust, respect, and inclusion within the department
  • Empower and engage employees to solve problems relating to safety, productivity, cost and recovery
What you will bring:
  • 10 years of progressively responsible experience in an industrial maintenance environment preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in related engineering discipline or the equivalent in combined education and experience preferred
  • Strong safety leadership and commitment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage conflict and influence others
  • Proven leadership abilities, promote accountability within the Mill Maintenance team
  • Foster a supportive and motivating work environment
  • Strong time and priority management
