- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring full compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Analyze and review financial disclosures to meet regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of company accounting policies, ensuring alignment with current standards and evaluating their impacts.
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes to deliver accurate and timely financial reports.
- Direct the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
- Prepare and present financial data to senior leadership, the board of directors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide expert technical accounting guidance for complex issues, such as revenue recognition and asset impairments.
- Collaborate with external auditors during interim reviews and year-end audits to ensure smooth processes.
- Develop and enhance processes and controls to maintain the quality and integrity of financial reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and alignment in financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent certification is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing, with exposure to relevant accounting standards.
- Strong expertise in accounting principles and technical accounting research.
- Proficient in using accounting and financial reporting systems, such as ERP and BlackLine.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex accounting concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams, processes, or projects.
- Familiarity with project environments and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
