The project offers up to two years of work, providing long-term stability for qualified tradespeople. This position involves outdoor pipe fabrication yard environment, supporting large-diameter pipe spools from 24” to 42”and fabricated assemblies.Anticipated Start Date: March-AprilLocation: Acheson, ABShift: Dayshift 4x10s (Mon-Thurs. 6am to 4:30pm) with potential for overtimeInclusive Rate: $34.74 - $56.12 (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP matching, education, training and $3.00/hr outdoor premium)Hourly Rate: $20.42-$27.75JOB DUTIES
Cutting using oxy/acetylene or plasma machine
Grinding and finishing
Manual material handling
Telehandler operation
Yard clean-up and shoveling
Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
Pipe cutting experience is an asset
Forklift experience is an asset
Physically able to lift 50 lbs
Strong teamwork and communication skills
