- Process customs releases and/or confirm declarations for shipments, creating or modifying line codes/classifications in the CCBS system.
- Handle delivery service requests, import permits, and ensure timely submission of required documentation to government authorities.
- Open and maintain customer files, validate information, and support credit and invoicing processes.
- Collect and verify supplementary documentation from customers, drivers, customs offices, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in customer profiles.
- Respond to routine inquiries from customers, drivers, customs, and related parties.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, UPS SCS employees, carriers, and inbound agents to ensure efficient customs operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in customs, logistics, or related fields.
- Bilingual (intermediate or higher), required in Quebec.
- Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, regulations, and other government department requirements.
- Familiarity with the Harmonized System (HS) of tariff classification.
- Proficient in basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
