- Unload incoming deliveries and load products for shipment per company policy and TDG Requirements
- Attend morning “toolbox” meeting to be aware of daily activities
- Keep warehouse/product storage areas neat, clean, organized and safe.
- Assist in stencilling, labelling, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping/banding of materials for shipment.
- Accurately and efficiently perform all tasks as assigned.
- Use small hand tools and operate handling equipment.
- On Call (Weekend and Evening) responsibilities as required
- Perform various other duties as assigned by the Lead Shipper/Receiver, Plant Manager or Plant Foreman
- Understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements and company policies.
- Perform all activities in accordance with established safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Play an active role in improving the working environment to ensure the safety and health of all employees.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Forklift Certification with experience operating forklifts with liquid-based materials is considered an asset.
- TDG, WHMIS 2015, First Aid Certifications
- Requires 1-2 years of directly related forklift experience.
- Be physically fit and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
- Maintenance and computer skills are considered an asset.
- Oil and Gas chemical knowledge is considered an asset
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions.
