Location: Montreal, QuebecSalary: Between 64k and 72k, salary based on experienceWe are looking for an Accounting Business Partner who will act as a key operational and organizational pillar within the finance team. - Full Accounting Cycle Management: Manage daily transactions through year-end close, including accounts payable, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis, identifying variances and suggesting improvements.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulations, and maintain thorough documentation for audits.
- Team Leadership & Process Improvement: Act as a technical lead, helping to organize workloads, improve team efficiency, and optimize accounting systems and processes.
- 3-5 years of practical accounting experience with strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle.
- AEC, DEC, or DEP in accounting/finance (or equivalent) and proficiency in accounting systems and Excel (including VLookUp, XLookUp, and pivot tables).
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Fluency in both French and English (essential for supporting US and Canadian operations) and demonstrated leadership qualities with a collaborative approach.
