🔧 Refrigeration Mechanic - 4th Class | $42-$52/hr📍 Burlington, ON | Full-Time | 2/2/3 Rotating ShiftFuze HR is hiring a Refrigeration Mechanic (4th Class) for a large, well-established food production facility in Burlington. This is a hands-on role working on critical plant systems including ammonia refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and utilities.If you're looking for a role where you can actually use your skills, stay hands-on, and have long-term stability, this is a great opportunity to join a strong maintenance team.💰 What's in it for you:

🛠️ What you'll be doing:

Maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, HVAC, and plant utilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to reduce downtime
Work on pumps, compressors, piping systems, and mechanical components
Inspect, test, and adjust system controls, regulators, and safety devices
Diagnose issues with refrigeration systems, including leak detection and system performance
Support installation and modification of plant equipment
Monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow rates to maintain cold chain requirements
Collaborate with maintenance, sanitation, and production teams

🔍 What you bring:

4th Class Operating Engineer (TSSA)
Refrigeration B Operator or Class A Operator
313A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning License (strong asset / preferred)
Minimum 6,000 hours of operating experience
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills (pumps, compressors, piping)
Welding experience
Experience in industrial or food manufacturing environments preferred
Comfortable working rotating 12-hour day/night shifts

Fast-paced industrial setting
Cold, wet, and odour-controlled areas at times (PPE provided)
