- 5 years of epidemiology and supervisory experience
- Expert knowledge of analytical, statistical and epidemiological methods normally acquired by an MSc, MHSc or MPH in epidemiology or equivalent
- Evidence of experience with epidemiological study design and community health research (e.g., epidemiological studies, needs assessments, and community surveys)
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Ability to synthesize, evaluate and integrate health/epidemiological information from multiple sources, and to provide recommendations for policy formulation/dissemination
- Knowledge and understanding of public health and community health issues
- Knowledge and experience in conducting literature reviews and critical appraisal
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge and experience in the use of computer software for statistical analyses and data visualization, in particular Microsoft Excel, Stata and PowerBI (other relevant examples: SPSS, R, SAS, Epi-Info, Microsoft Access)
- Demonstrated experience of project management, facilitation, report writing, and organization skills
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
