Job Responsibilities
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Operate paving equipment and assist with asphalt placement
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment and complete minor maintenance
  • Understand asphalt mixes and paving processes
  • Assist with marking manholes and valves prior to paving
  • Shovel and assist with labour duties
  • Rake joints and seams
  • Load, unload and move materials around the worksite
  • Work well in team environments
Qualifications
  • Experience working on asphalt paving crews
  • Familiarity with paving equipment and worksite hazards
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable conditions
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with current driver's abstract
