- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Professional designation required: CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance leadership within a medium to large global organization.
- 2–3 years of experience in Accounting, Governance, and Internal Controls (required).
- 2+ years of experience in a people leadership role (required).
- Experience in a multi-divisional, global environment (asset)..
- Strong Stakeholder and Change Management skills.
- Responsible for all accounting and finance operations
- Responsible for efficient and effective period close process that delivers accurate financial information
- Finance Key User for ERP changes
- Collaborate with payroll in issue resolution/driving continuous improvement
- Approve all Accounts Payable payments and submission to bank
- Ensures compliance in the FinOps area (Segregation of Duties, Golden Standards).
- Partners with business partners to raise standards of Governance through training, process improvements, risk identification and mitigation.
- Manage and develop a highly engaged team by leading efforts to continuously drive associate and team engagement.
- Manage multiple process improvement and key priority projects.
- Support ad hoc requests/projects from the business.
- Builds a robust cash-forecast including an assessment of risks and opportunities, and feeds this into the S&OP+ process.
- Partners across the organization (commercial, sales) to understand and anticipate cash impacts such payment term changes.
- Ensures accuracy of NCFO data by overseeing balance sheet bookings and period close processes.
- Tracks and reviews actual NCFO against plan.
- Engages the senior leadership team to align on and execute on a NCFO plan for the current year as well as future years.
- Works with Treasury to forecast weekly cash flow.
- Manages the technical rollout of direct-to-consumer processes to new partners.
- Ensures data integrity of D2C postings by overseeing revenue and trade reconciliations and the results of automated IT processes.
- Helps create and implement new digital processes to improve transparency with D2C partners and operational excellence.
- Leads large-scale projects to deliver global solutions for enabling digital ways of working in Financial Operations (e.g. Global In-House Bank, Supplier Financing, Intercompany AP Automation, Third-Party AP Automation).
- Champions use cases for the adoption of new digital tools (e.g. Smartsheet, DocuSign, Power BI).
- Works with leadership teams to develop and deliver new business through digital initiatives (e.g. D2C, B2B).
- Adhere to applicable Quality and Food Safety Policies and Quality Management System requirements to ensure compliance to MARS standards.
- Demonstrate a quality culture in actions, words and spirit.
