- Shift - Evenings: 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Hours - 40 hr a week + overtime as required
- Hourly Rate - $44.10 + $1.00/hr (night shift premium after 5:00 pm)
- Closing Date - Monday April 27, 2026
- Responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance within fleet department.
- Perform preventative maintenance in fleet.
- Respond to service calls.
- Maintain tools and area of work in an organized fashion.
- Pick up and deliver vehicles if required.
- Participate in and adhere to the required safety training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License required.
- Class 1 Alberta Driver's License is considered an asset, but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a mechanic working with light and heavy equipment.
- Journeyman mechanic experience (3+ years) preferred.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline, diesel, and propane engines, including automotive electrical systems and material handling equipment, preferred.
- Proven on-road heavy-duty mechanic experience.
- Alberta Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) certification required.
- Must supply own tools.
- Ability to provide a clean 3-year Driver's Abstract with no major violations.
- Forklift operating experience preferred.
