As part of their growth, they are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Insurance Claims Liaison to join their team-someone who will play a key role in bridging communications between brokers, insurers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth handling of complex and specialty claims.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Commercial Insurance Claims Liaison, you will be the central point of contact and coordination for claims activity across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:Claims Management Support:Act as a liaison between brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective claims handling.Ensure all parties are informed throughout the claim lifecycle and that service standards are consistently met.Documentation & Administration:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims correspondence, summaries, and supporting documents in internal systems.Review loss runs and insurer reports for completeness and accuracy, flagging trends or anomalies as needed.Reporting & Communication:Prepare and distribute monthly claims reports for underwriters and program managers to support data-driven decision-making.Communicate updates and resolve inquiries with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.Process Improvement & Compliance:Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to streamline the claims process.Ensure compliance with regulatory, carrier, and internal standards and escalate high-impact issues appropriately.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with underwriting and program teams to ensure claims data informs risk selection and pricing strategies.Participate in internal meetings and training to stay aligned with evolving product lines and procedures.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:Education & Experience:Level 1 general insurance licence (or willing to obtain within 60 days)5 years of commercial underwriting experience AND/OR 3 years of claims experience *additional consideration for candidates with MGA experience * CIP or other insurance designation an assetTechnical Skills:Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with claims management platforms.Familiarity with MGA operations or specialty lines is an asset.Key Competencies:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.Apply TodayPlease submit your resume directly to Alana Tarchuk via email at referencing Job ID: 79130About UsExecutrade is one of Western Canada's most comprehensive full-service recruitment firms, with over 50 years of expertise in connecting talented professionals with leading organizations.
