As a Yardperson you will play a integral role with ensuring a clean, organized and safe warehouse, shop and yard. You will also have the ability to gain exposure to the heavy equipment industry from the ground up.This position truly stands out due to the Career Potential! You will have the opportunity to grow into our Apprenticeship Program, with pathways to becoming either a Parts Person or Heavy Equipment Technician. This is the perfect chance to learn, build hands-on skills, and invest in a rewarding future that is backed by training and mentorship.What's the challenge?You'll fit right in with ……

If you are thinking about a career as a Heavy Equipment Technician or Yardperson, this is the job for you. You'll have exposure to the job and if you have a can-do attitude and mechanical aptitude you may have an opportunity to enroll in our Apprentice Program.
  • Get Dirty You will have a front-row view to see what goes on in the shop, and opportunities to become involved as you progress. You'll be part of a talented and experienced team.
  • Work Safely. You will embrace our safety procedures so that you and your team go home safely each day. You'll become a champion for staying inside the safety guidelines and vigilance will become second nature.
  • Motivation. You'll catch on to the jobs and routines quickly and you'll jump in to safely complete jobs thoroughly, and in a timely manner with minimum supervision. You'll stay busy all day - and notice how time flies!
  • Stamina. This can be a physical job with heavy lifting and carrying, and you may work in hot, cold, wet, dusty or greasy environments. The pace can be fast, the hours can be long during busy cycles and you may also need to work occasional overtime. You will also realize that you need to recharge regularly - we insist that you take your vacation time!
