You’ll translate complex market movements into compelling digital narratives across platforms, with LinkedIn as your flagship arena. Your work will elevate our voice, grow our reach, and strengthen our role as a credible, authoritative source with financial advisors and investors.
  • You will lead our capital markets digital thought leadership program, creating social-first content that positions Fidelity as a timely, trustworthy and insight-driven source for market insights.
  • You will manage our capital markets newsletter program, manage content calendars, production timelines, and promotional plans, ensuring publishing deadlines are met, and KPIs are achieved.
  • Translate fast‑moving market developments into clear, compelling digital stories that strengthen our credibility and help audiences make sense of complex financial landscapes.
  • You will collaborate and develop strong relationships with colleagues across teams, departments, and external partners to support strategic priorities (e.g. Sales, Product, Asset Management, Marketing, Compliance.)
  • You will apply your capital markets knowledge to other digital initiatives, including production efforts towards Fidelity Canada’s webcast and podcast programs.
What We Are Looking For:
  • University degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Journalism, or Communications.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success creating digital-first content for social platforms, particularly focused on financial markets and investing topics.
  • Experience managing or producing LinkedIn newsletters and working with executives on thought‑leadership content.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, economic trends, corporate earnings, and news cycles that move investor sentiment.
  • Ability to translate technical financial insights into engaging posts, carousels, scripts, and threads tailored to platform behaviors.
  • Experience collaborating with editorial, subject‑matter experts, and compliance partners in regulated environments.
  • Experience working in the Investment industry is a plus.

  • Strong journalistic instincts—news judgment, accuracy, clarity, and the ability to break down complex market topics quickly and cleanly.
  • Expert‑level proficiency with LinkedIn, including formats, analytics, publishing cadence, algorithm dynamics, and newsletter strategy.
  • A keen understanding of storytelling in digital and social environments, especially how to craft hooks and narratives that resonate.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a concise, polished style suited for professional financial audiences.
  • A collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve, and deadlines change.
  • Passion for journalism, the role of social media in the news cycle, and the role of asset managers in shaping investment conversations.

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $109,000 to $121,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
