Our client, a friendly neighbourhood dental office, seeks a Level I or II Dental Assistant/Receptionist -can be trained. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care.POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experienced Level I or II Dental Assistant
  • Preferred someone that can help out at Front Desk and that has experience with Dentrix but can be trained.
LOCATION: Danforth/BroadviewHOURS:
  • Mon 8-6
  • Tues 8-6
  • Weds 8-4
  • Thurs 8-4
COMPENSATION:
  • $25-29 per hour depending on experience and performance
JOB OVERVIEW:
  • Assisting dentist during dental procedures, restorations etc in a General practice
  • Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays
  • Preparing dental materials and cements
  • Pouring and trimming cast models
  • Digital x-rays
  • Providing patients with post operative instructions
  • Mainly assisting but helping at the front desk with Recalls, booking appointments, dealing with insurance companies, recall etc using Dentrix software as needed
Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
