- Be agile in all aspects of customer service with a high focus on technical ability.
- Provide outstanding customer service to customers across Canada using all communication channels to ensure a seamless omni-channel experience.
- Handle incoming underwriting carrier requests and liaise with Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy requirements.
- Prepare and complete insurance applications, issue insurance certificates, process policy changes, and review renewals.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Participate in debrief sessions and provide feedback on new workflows to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current on underwriting rules, workflows, and evolving industry standards.
- Become a licensed insurance broker across all provinces where BrokerLink operates.
- Actively engage in ongoing training and professional development.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and other departments as needed.
- High School/Post-Secondary Education.
- RIBO licensed preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years Personal Insurance experience.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality and thoughtful customer service.
- A flexible and agile mindset with the ability to quickly shift priorities and support various teams as needed.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC or have a proactive approach to learning new systems and processes.
- Prior insurance industry experience and knowledge of claims and underwriting processes is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional multitasking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
