Our client is delivering a large-scale rail systems project in Vancouver and is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Project Coordinator to support systems-related packages, specifically Power Supply & Distribution.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating the Power Supply & Distribution systems scope across design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Support senior project staff in planning, scheduling, document control, and technical coordination.
- Track progress, manage updates, and prepare weekly/monthly project reports.
- Review design documentation, RFIs, submittals, and ensure timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to resolving technical and logistical issues.
- Maintain records, logs, and project documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Support quality control, safety processes, and compliance with project procedures.
- 1-4 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role, ideally within infrastructure, rail, transportation, or complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Exposure to electrical systems, power supply, distribution, or rail systems is an asset (not mandatory).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management tools (e.g., P6, Bluebeam, Procore) is an advantage.
- Engineering, construction management, or technical diploma/degree preferred.
