As an outside sales rep you will sell recurring commercial cleaning service contracts to businesses across a defined territory. This is a hunter-led, net-new sales role where you will generate your own opportunities through cold calling, in-person prospecting/door knocking, and multi-touch follow-up, then book appointments, complete on-site walk-throughs (capturing key facility details to build accurate pricing), prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close new recurring agreements. You will spend 60%+ of your time in the field (no overnight travel), with admin and follow-up handled from home, plus one weekly in-office sales meeting in Mississauga. Office attendance depends on ramp stage and weekly meeting cadence.Toronto West (reporting to Mississauga office): Brampton (full city), north toward Orangeville, plus a pocket on the west side of Mississauga (also described as northern Mississauga + Etobicoke south).Durham (reporting to Ajax office): Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa.First ~3 months: more office-based / hands-on ramp with the hiring manager.After ramp: “road warrior” hybrid with 1 day/week in office (sales meeting) and the rest in-field / home-based follow-up work.EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Must have 2–5 years B2B sales experience with a hunter / new business focusTHE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION:You will sell commercial cleaning contracts (recurring service agreements) to businesses across your territory.Typical target account: ~$750/month recurring (~$9,000/year), with a 1–4 week sales cycle.You’ll sell to decision makers such as Office Managers, Controllers/Accounting, and Purchasing (often 2 influencers in the process).What you’ll do (day-to-day):Prospect daily (phone/email + in-person) to create opportunities and book appointments.Run discovery and onsite walk-throughs: measure/count specs (sq ft, surfaces, washroom fixtures, etc.).Build quotes/proposals, present to decision-makers, and follow up to close.LEADSLead flow is a mix of company-provided + self-generated prospecting:Warm inbound leads (e.g., PPC/marketing-driven) routed through HubSpot.Territory database leads inside SPOTIO, including mapping/Google integration to identify and build target lists.Expectation is high activity and consistent follow-up (this is a 100% new business role).TECHNICAL SKILLS:Comfortable using CRM daily as a “single source of truth” (SPOTIO; training provided).Lead management / follow-up workflow via HubSpot.Confident with quoting/proposal tools and basic business math (pricing built from site specs).MS Word + Excel (intermediate) for documentation, tracking, and admin duties.SUPPORT & TRAININGStructured onboarding + training (often 4–6 weeks structured; total ramp to full stride can be 2–3 months).First week includes in-office onboarding (company story, ethics/values, systems, and “language of cleaning”).Shadowing across offices and with operational/brand standards teams to understand delivery + customer experience.Weekly meetings, KPI reviews, and coaching focused on consistent activity and follow-up discipline.WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY:Uncapped earning potential with quarterly bonuses—your activity directly drives income.Strong sales structure + tools + coaching, plus a proven sales process (short cycle, repeatable).Clear growth path—advancement opportunities can include Sales Team Lead, Territory/Brand Development roles, Regional Director within ~2 years for strong performers.Strong runway for growth in responsibility/territory as the business scales#IND3
