Business Systems Analyst

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
• Develop comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs) and data mapping frameworks to support project deliverables.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
• Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage workflows, track progress, and document processes.
• Support application systems by troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions to minimize disruptions.
• Oversee the implementation of electronic funds transfer (EFT) systems and other banking-related technologies.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems, processes, and workflows to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Lead Agile Scrum sessions to foster collaboration and drive project progress.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems or processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct data mapping, process mapping, and report writing.
• Solid understanding of financial business models, operating risks, and electronic funds transfer (EFT) systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
