Sanitation Technician

- Sanitization of all production and ancillary areas (offices, restrooms, change rooms etc).
- Vacuuming, Scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, filling of foot-baths, cleaning all walls/ceilings/vents, restroom cleaning etc.
- Support Sanitation Manager by keeping track of inventory of sanitation supplies to support monthly orders.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Complete all sanitation documentation required for Health Canada compliancy.
- Inform Sanitation Manager of deficiencies or items that require repairs or maintenance in the facility.
- Sign off on all completed sanitation related activities as per SOPs.
- Partake in weekly Sanitation Team meetings to remain on schedule and support cultivation related activities.
- Ensure all sanitation equipment is operating efficiently as per operating manuals.
- Will be required to mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- Continue to develop and better the sanitation program and support input for improvements to efficiency and process flow.
- Support other job duties in the facility as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (computers, printers, etc.)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)

- Ability to visually identify plant health issues, safety hazards and signage.
- Ability to use a ladder up to 12' high.
