We are looking for an experienced carpenter-joiner (team leader) to lead and coordinate carpentry and joinery projects within our construction teams.The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent technical expertise in construction, and a good ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.This role is essential to ensure the quality of work, safety, and efficiency on job sites while supervising team members and adhering to project deadlines.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of carpenters-joiners to ensure the efficient and safe progress of work.Oversee daily operations on job sites and coordinate tasks according to plans and schedules.Read and interpret plans, diagrams, and construction documents to ensure precise execution of work.Use construction management software such as Agendrix for planning, scheduling, and resource management.Conduct quality control to maintain high standards of finish and safety.Participate in project budget management, cost tracking, and work estimation.Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as well as company policies on job sites.Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure good communication and smooth progress of work.Utilize tools like Jobtread and other job site management software for documentation, reporting, and coordination.Desired ExperienceMinimum of 6 years of experience as a carpenter-joiner, primarily in the residential sector (interior finishing, new construction, and major renovations).Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical diagrams.Experience in quality control in a job site context.Good knowledge of health and safety standards on construction sites.Excellent leadership skills and ability to mobilize a team while coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.Valid CCQ card required Valid driver's licenseJob type: Full-timeCompensation: $50.00 to $70.00 per hourExpected hours: 35.0 per weekBenefits:Company carExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site gymOn-site parkingPaid time offVision careExperience:Construction and renovation: 6 years (Preferred)Job location: On-site
