Under the supervision of the Distribution Supervisor, the Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the management team in planning and organizing the department's daily operations.Responsibilities:
- Analyze floor operations, define priorities, and assign team members according to the operational needs of the shift;
- Ensure the operational productivity of the team and support them in achieving productivity targets;
- Promote OHS standards and ensure the team works in a safe environment;
- Ensure equipment inspections are carried out by workers and that mechanical issues are addressed;
- Identify distributor training needs and suggest opportunities for training improvement;
- Ensure the scanning of all pallets sent for distribution;
- Analyze distribution error reports and forward the information to the appropriate personnel;
- Coordinate with the central aisle department to ensure pallet distribution is FIFO-compliant;
- Coordinate the use of electric pallet trucks at the start and end of shifts and ensure cleanup at the end of shifts;
- Generate worksheets for dispatchers, missing distribution labels, and productivity reports;
- Monitor the department's flow to ensure it is adequate;
- Make recommendations regarding the work environment and
the equipment used by the team.Required Profile
- College diploma in administration, supply chain, operations
management, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience;
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a similar position;
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and manage
priorities;
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel;
- Good communication and leadership skills;
- Organized, rigorous, and with a keen eye for detail;
