
Junior Account Executive

- 2+ years of experience in an BDR/SDR role or 1-2 years of experience in an Account Executive role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in a consultative, solution-based sales process
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—you can simplify complex concepts and clearly articulate the value of our platform to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Technically proficient—you can confidently lead software demos, facilitate virtual calls, and tailor presentations to different customer needs
- Disciplined and process-driven, with a structured approach to managing the sales funnel and keeping CRM data up to date
- Consultative and empathetic—you understand how to diagnose customer pain points and craft tailored solutions
- Creative and adaptable—you thrive in an evolving SaaS environment, quickly adjusting to different buyer personas and industries
- Ambitious, competitive, and a self-starter, always seeking ways to improve your performance and close more deals

- Prior experience working in a startup environment
- Prior experience selling to SMB businesses
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS best practices
- Experience using HubSpot and/or sales automation tools
- Flexibility in working hours to be able to work with leads based in Europe
- Own and manage inbound leads from demo request to close, focusing on educating prospects and showcasing how Optix can support their business goals
- Run consultative discovery calls, understanding each prospect’s unique pain points and tailoring your pitch accordingly
- Customize and deliver compelling virtual demos, positioning Optix as the best solution for their business needs
- Nurture a pipeline of potential leads, ensuring that no opportunity is lost and strategically guiding prospects through the sales funnel
- Foster new relationships with future clients via prospecting efforts, leveraging multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, video, and calls) to establish trust and credibility
- Leverage HubSpot to send targeted emails, make calls, track conversations, set tasks, and schedule appointments efficiently
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to continuously refine messaging and optimize the customer experience
- Provide insights from your unique customer-facing perspective to improve Optix’s top-of-funnel marketing and outreach strategies
