We are currently looking to add a Junior Facility Maintenance Technician to our team.Position Summary:The Junior Facility Maintenance Technician will support the day-to-day operations of our facility by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and want to grow within the maintenance field in a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:· Assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems· Support basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs· Monitor and respond to facility work orders and maintenance requests· Ensure compliance with food safety and GMP standards during maintenance work· Maintain clean and organized maintenance workspaces· Assist with equipment inspections and documentation· Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to minimize downtimeQualifications & Requirements:· High school diploma or equivalent required· Previous maintenance or mechanical experience an asset, but not required· Basic understanding of facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is a plus· Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow SOPs· Ability to work in cold, wet, or noisy environments· Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks· Good communication and teamwork skillsWork Conditions:This is a full-time position located in a food production facility. The role may require work on rotating shifts or weekends, depending on production needs.
